How Office Furniture Importers Compare Executive Desk Storage Configurations Before Requesting a Quote

For an office furniture importer, a product photograph is the start of a comparison, not a complete purchasing specification. A desk may be shown with a low table, mobile pedestal, side cabinet or storage wall. Two similar photographs can therefore represent different supply scopes.

The clearest approach is to record the base model, selected finish option, required components, quantity and destination market. Ask BG Office Furniture to confirm the dimensions and commercial terms for that selection in writing before ordering.

1. Compare the work surface and support structure

A straight rectangular desk, a desk with an integrated side cabinet and a raised worktop create different product assortments. Identify the structure before comparing finishes. BG-2609-G17 shows a raised worktop, modesty panel and angled metal-leg frame. BG-2623L-B4 shows an asymmetric arrangement with side storage. Ask which dimensions and orientations are available for the selected reference.

2. Separate mobile storage from fixed side storage

A mobile pedestal can be assessed as a separate supporting unit. An integrated side cabinet influences the desk configuration. BG-2614-G17-F presents a rectangular desk with a mobile drawer pedestal and separate side cabinet. Record each required component rather than assuming that everything pictured is included.

3. Keep finish options within the correct product family

BG-2621LA-B4, BG-2621LA-G17 and BG-2621LA-G28 show finish references for the BG-2621LA family, with a desk, low table and open storage-wall arrangement. These colour references are options within a model family; they should not be counted as three distinct furniture designs. For an order containing several finishes, record the chosen finish and its quantity on separate order lines under the same base model.

BG-2617LA-G17 is a separate configuration reference. Do not substitute a BG-2617LA reference for a BG-2621LA selection without written agreement on the actual components and specifications.

4. Compare open storage with closed cabinet storage

Open shelving and closed cabinets support different showroom assortments. BG-2631A-G28 presents an executive desk with a low table, side pedestal and wide storage cabinet. List the desk, low table and cabinet separately when requesting a quote, and identify any pictured accessories that you do not need.

5. Confirm specifications for every selected reference

BG-8190 and BG-8155 are additional panel-style executive desk references. Photographs help compare the front treatment and overall appearance, but they do not confirm dimensions, material thickness, hardware or packing. Request current written specifications for the exact model and finish instead of estimating them from the image.

6. Use a clear importer comparison sheet

• Base model: the BG model family and the exact product-page link.

• Finish option: the selected colour or finish reference, with a confirmed sample where needed.

• Components: desk, low table, pedestal, side cabinet or storage wall; mark excluded items.

• Quantity: required units for each component and finish.

• Required timing: the buyer's requested date, subject to BG's written confirmation.

• Confirmed terms: specifications, packing, MOQ, payment and delivery terms for the actual order.

This helps a distributor compare showroom selections and helps an importer consolidate an assortment without confusing colour choices with new product designs.

7. Send a focused inquiry

Send the product links, selected finish references, component quantities and destination market. If you are comparing several options, explain which features matter to your buyers. BG can then review the requested configuration and confirm the applicable offer.
